📅 19 March I 09.00 - 15.30 I 📍 RTE
RTE Méditerranée Head Office - 99 rue de Lyon 13015 Marseille
The boom in renewable energies is profoundly transforming Europe's electricity mix. With 841 TWh of electricity generated in the EU, solar and wind power now outstrip fossil fuels, illustrating a major paradigm shift.
This positive dynamic does, however, raise a number of structural challenges: integrating intermittent production, requiring advanced solutions to guarantee grid stability and resilience, and managing emergency situations (such as blackouts). These are all challenges that require us to rethink the electricity network and accelerate innovation.
The aim? To transform systems that were originally a source of complexity or problems (integration of intermittent renewable energies) into an opportunity. Have you heard of grid forming?
Against this backdrop, a new generation of solutions is emerging, capable not just of adapting to the grid, but of structuring it. Grid forming paves the way for networks driven by power electronics, combining renewable generation, battery storage (BESS) and advanced digital control.
To decipher these changes, Capenergies and Aktantis are joining forces to organise a unique day bringing together players from the electricity networks, energy and Deeptech sectors, in order to pool expertise and explore opportunities at the interface between energy and digital technology.
Event reserved for Capenergies and Aktantis members
Please note that registration for this event will close at 19:00 on 16 March. Please register accordingly. Thank you to everyone.
