DEVELOPMENT AND QUALIFICATION OF A THIN-FILM PV SOLAR GLASS
The purpose of the ART-PV project is to develop and qualify a CIGS*-based thin-film PV glass that can be installed on façades of commercial buildings, providing a large glass surface area. The idea is to provide a ecologically compatible solution (non-polluting, sustainable and user-friendly with a return on investment (ROI) < 10 years) to the increasing energy demand in areas with high population densities, which now make up 75% of the global energy consumption.
