EXPERIMENTING SMART CHARGING SOLUTIONS
The collaborative project called aVEnir sets out to test smart charging solutions to facilitate the incorporation of several million electric vehicles into the fleet by 2030. Experiments will be performed to check interactions between the public electric power distribution network, charging stations and electric vehicles. Six typical cases will be tested in order to cover a broad range of technical, economic, social and regulatory aspects.
These experiments will take place in two different regions: the Lyon metropolis (dense urban environment) and part of the Provence region (peri-urban and rural areas).
