DEPLOYMENT OF A HYDROGEN PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION STATION IN THE CANNES METROPOLITAN AREA
This project sets out to decarbonise public transportation used in the Cannes-Lérins metropolitan area (CACPL), as well as the waste collection vehicles used in both the CACPL and Sophia-Antipolis (CASA) metropolitan areas. To achieve this, it is focusing on the production and recycling of renewable or low-carbon hydrogen.
A hydrogen production unit based on water electrolysis will be developed for the project with the dual aim of deploying a zero-carbon urban transport system and developing a network of excellence in hydrogen production and use in the CACPL region.
