LABORATORY FOR INTEGRATED ENERGY SYSTEMS
This project is tasked with developing a new experimental platform to test innovative electrical systems and interconnections between renewable energy sources, storage systems and consumption.
The mission statement of the laboratory for integrated energy systems (LSEI) is to study and demonstrate the interactions between distributed power resources (low and intermediate voltages), the different energy vectors available, and their impact on the flexibility of power systems.
It boasts cutting-edge equipment such as a microgrid (with batteries and hydrogen-based storage, a load emulator and experimental PV facilities), a grid emulator and a real-time numerical simulator.
