REGULATION OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS USING A NEW MECHANISM
Photosynthesis is a biological process that occurs when CO2 is captured to produce oxygen and glucose. This chemical transformation is possible thanks to the energy of sunlight and numerous enzyme regulation mechanisms, including the distribution of solar energy between photosystems to optimise the energy efficiency.
The PHOTOREGUL project aims at better understanding this regulation mechanism by developing molecular tools and measuring instruments before energy applications can eventually be developed.
