WATINYOO

THERMAL SMART GRIDS COMBINED WITH WATER LOOPS

The company called Watinyoo has designed a concept of smart heat microgrids using geothermal water loops. Being able to control the heat circulating in a water loop is decisive in achieving maximum efficiency and energy performance in heat pumps.

The temperature of water loops can be maintained by additional, interconnected heat sources (solar, waste heat, etc.) to create a low-cost heat microgrid by exploiting different sources of natural thermal or renewable energy that is available locally.

A network of local heat sources is created when several loops are connected, thereby enabling the transfer of heat over long distances.
