Building a services platform to speed up energy renovation work
A project selected as part of the European Commission's LIFE programme
CONCERTO RENOV The aim is to make it easier for consumers to do their home improvements by bringing together all the players in the energy renovation value chain on a single platform, a truly integrated solution that covers everything from diagnosing the home to tracking energy savings after the work has been completed.

A single platform to speed up the move towards comprehensive, high-performance home improvements for households
CONCERTO RENOV is based on 2 pillars:
- A coordinated ecosystem bringing together all the stakeholders (operators, construction companies and private individuals) to provide a coordinated local offering,
- L'CONCERTO tooldeveloped by SONERGIA in conjunction with the CSTB, to diagnose the home and propose work scenarios.
Energy-efficient home renovation in Europe and France :
a major source of savings for private individuals and improved living comfort
IN EUROPE
85 to 95 % of existing buildings will still be existing in 2050, many of them dependent on fossil fuels for heating and cooling.
Currently, only 11 % of the European Union's building stock undergoes a certain level of renovation each year.. Major renovations that reduce energy consumption by at least 60 % affect only 0.2 % of the building stock.
A pace that is far too slow to quickly reach the carbon neutrality in the building sectorwhile the energy insecurity remains a major challenge, with 34 million Europeans unable to afford to heat their homes properly.
IN FRANCE
And 3.8 million households are having difficulty paying their heating bills.

CONCERTO RENOV: a project at the heart of the "wave of renovation for Europe
In 2020, the European Commission published the " A wave of renovations for Europe - Greening our buildings, creating jobs, improving life "to stimulate renovation in the EU.
The aim is to double the annual rate of energy renovation over the next 10 years.
The wave of renovation has identified 3 priority areas:
- Combating fuel poverty and renovating the worst-performing homes,
- Work on public buildings,
- Decarbonising heating and cooling.
Key stages in the project
Once this unifying model has been validated, the partners will encourage its replication in France and other European countries.
