MOGAS

Gas engine for stationary applications

The aim of the MOGAS project is to develop a 1 MW gas engine technology that meets the specific requirements of stationary generators used in emerging countries (Africa and the Middle East). The project proposes to develop an engine with a low carbon footprint capable of avoiding the 20 to 30 % loss of efficiency of gas engines when the ambient temperature or altitude increases or when the methane index of the gas decreases.
