PYGEN

Piezoelectric generator suitable for low rotation speeds

The aim of the PyGEn project is to assess the technical and economic feasibility of a slow piezoelectric generator (Power Take-Off < 30 rpm) for renewable energy applications. The project aims to recover energy from slow movements (wind, waves, currents, etc.) and convert it into electricity at a competitive cost per kWh.
