Europe's biggest event dedicated to innovation, start-ups and new technologies, Viva Technology, returns from 11 to 14 June!
At this year's event, the SUD Region will be showcasing 5 nuggets from the Capenergies cluster: BE ENERGY, EARTHWAKE, ENTENT, HEXANA, OTRERA.
This momentum was kick-started on 7 May at the regional kick-off, attended by the main institutional and economic players. Bernard Kleynhoff, Chairman of the Commission for Economic and Digital Development, Industry, Exports, Attractiveness and Cybersecurity and Chairman of Rising Sud, recalled the extent to which VivaTech has established itself alongside CES in Las Vegas as an international crossroads for innovation.
He highlighted the priorities for 2025: cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, but also technological sovereignty and defence - all areas in which the SUD Region is asserting its ambitions.
THE 5 MEMBERS OF THE SOUTHERN REGION PAVILION
Among the 40 companies selected, several Capenergies members will have the opportunity to present their expertise in the 180 m² regional pavilion dedicated to innovation:
- BE ENERGY battery regeneration
- EARTHWAKE An innovative pyrolysis solution to convert plastic waste into energy
- ENTENT : converting thermal waste from very low-temperature industry into useful electricity
- HEXANA 4th generation modular and flexible nuclear system
- OTRERA development of new-generation nuclear reactors
Each, in its own way, embodies the spirit of responsible, technological innovation focused on the energy challenges of tomorrow.
A HIGHLY STRATEGIC SHOW
VivaTech 2025 is shaping up to be a record-breaking event: over 3,200 international investors, hundreds of B2B meetings, and a rich line-up of over 400 speakers on four stages dedicated to the major issues of our time: regulation, climate, energy and the future of work.
The SUD region, which was recently named European Innovation Capital, and its partners see this as a major opportunity to raise the profile of regional talent.
And the expected impact is substantial: 25 % of a startup's annual leads are generated at the show, with a satisfaction rate of 94 % among exhibitors. Thanks to agile formats such as pitches, office hours and live demonstrations, the start-ups in the South pavilion will benefit from a unique spotlight.
Canada will also be in the spotlight, with over 100 companies coming to build bridges with European ecosystems. This is a strong signal for French start-ups, who will find VivaTech a privileged gateway to transatlantic collaborations.
See you in Paris from 11 to 14 June to follow the adventure of our regional champions!
