The energy transition in rural areas takes shape in Alpes-Maritimes and Var

Capenergies and Enedis are teaming up with the local authorities in the Var and Alpes-Maritimes regions as part of the FLEXGRID programme, launching an essential initiative to promote the energy transition in rural areas in the SUD Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

The aim of these partnerships is to encourage the emergence of energy optimisation projects, tailored to the needs and constraints of these areas. Three villages in the Alpes-Maritimes have already expressed interest in receiving tailored support in 2020. The Smart Village approach is set to be replicated.

In the Var, Capenergies and Enedis will be working more closely with the Chamber of Agriculture to offer flexible energy solutions to the agricultural sector, 1er economic sector.
