WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
The Heat Auction is a competitive bidding mechanism designed to decarbonise industrial heat.
Project leaders specify the level of public funding they require. The least expensive proposals are prioritised until the available budget has been exhausted.
In practical terms, applicant projects are assessed on the basis of the level of financial support requested: the most competitive projects are selected until the budget has been exhausted.
This scheme is aimed at European industrial project leaders who wish to decarbonise their heating processes using low-carbon technologies.
📌 A STEP AHEAD IN PREPARING YOUR APPLICATION
IF 26 is only the second edition of this call for proposals, a relatively new scheme, which is due to reopen in December 2026. The call has not yet been published, but we have had access to the Terms & Conditions. Knowing about them in advance is a real asset when it comes to putting together a solid application and being ready on the opening day.
The aim of this webinar : to prepare project leaders in advance, so that they can apply under the best possible conditions as soon as the call for proposals is published.
If you’re leading an industrial project, find out all about the Heat Auction, plan ahead for upcoming deadlines and discover the keys to a successful application through testimonials from those involved in the process.
