The Capenergies competitiveness cluster and the CCIAMP strengthen their collaboration on energy transition, innovation and financing
Jean-Luc Chauvin, Chairman of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Jacques Vayron, Chairman of Capenergies, signed a framework agreement on wednesday 1er February 2023. Objective: To help businesses commit to decarbonising their activities and saving energy.
Energy transition for businesses
Faced with the energy emergency, the CCIs are mobilising to encourage businesses to take the right steps to reduce their energy consumption. The CCIAMP has set up a number of initiatives, including providing information on government schemes, organising the "Urgence énergie: Tous concernés" conference in October 2022, at which Capenergies took part, and rolling out and promoting the flash diag energy diagnostic. It is also contributing to the outgoing calls operation aimed at informing 1,100 SMIs with 10 to 250 employees in the manufacturing industry about government aid, and is also organising workshops on energy saving in the regions.
To pursue and intensify these actions, the two partners undertake to collaborate in the context of events, forums, workshops and conferences organised by each of the partners, in order to create or consolidate links with businesses and pool their efforts. Capenergies will provide expert support to the CCIAMP, in particular through the identification of speakers. The two partners also plan to co-construct a programme to support businesses in tackling the challenges of energy transition, as part of an open partnership approach (ADEME, CCIT, Région Sud, etc.).
Facilitating access to sources of finance
Capenergies and the CCIAMP, through its subsidiary CCI Conseil & Finance, are convinced that financing is a real lever for business growth and development. The two partners will therefore work together to make it easier for businesses to access various sources of finance.
Promoting and giving visibility to innovative companies
The two partners are committed to working together to give visibility to the innovative products developed by the nuggets and star-ups that are members of or supported by Capenergies, in particular through riality, the artificial intelligence experimentation laboratory supported by the CCIAMP.
The Capenergies competitiveness cluster leads an ecosystem of more than 530 members, made up of small and large companies, research laboratories, training organisations, funding bodies, local authorities and regions. Its main mission is to support the emergence and development of innovation projects to promote the energy transition and competitiveness of players in the SUD region, Corsica and Monaco.
About the CCIAMP
