The renewal of the French nuclear industry is generating a need to intensify research and engineering work, which must increasingly be developed in a multidisciplinary context. The need for high-level training and teaching tools is a major challenge. In response, the PLATINUM project aims to set up an immersive training and research platform comprising 3 physically 'connected' areas to intensify interdisciplinary teaching and research projects in the field of nuclear fission and fusion.
