AGRIVOLTAIC DEMONSTRATOR ON PEAR TREES FOR ILLUMINATED IRRIGATION

The aim of the project is to create an innovative agrivoltaics demonstrator combining photovoltaic electricity production and optimised irrigation management for a pear tree crop at the La Pugère experimental station (Mallemort).
The aim of the experiment is to study the shading effect of photovoltaic panels, with a view to improving agricultural production and minimising water requirements in the context of climate change. In particular, the project aims to limit evapotranspiration and reduce the rate of over-flowering.
