SMEs and start-ups in the solar, offshore wind and electricity grid sectors: the second call for proposals under the European RENEW-BOOSTER project, of which Capenergies is a partner, is now open.

WHO IS IT FOR?
The second call for proposals for the European RENEW-BOOSTER project has been open since 28 September 2026 and is aimed at you if:
- Are you an SME or start-up operating within the photovoltaic, offshore wind and/or electricity grid value chains?
- Are you looking to secure funding for a single-partner or multi-partner (a consortium of two companies from the same country or three companies from at least two different countries) innovation, product or process project?
- Your project (product or service) has strong market potential,
- Your project contributes to Europe’s ambitions regarding critical materials (Critical Raw Materials Act) and the production of green technologies (Net Zero Industry Act).
WHAT KIND OF FUNDING?
Up to €60,000 in grant funding per business, covering 30 to 80 % of the project cost depending on the format chosen, with the remainder funded from your own resources.
- Open Calls: your project may cover any topic within the programme’s scope
- Challenges: your project addresses one of the challenges identified by industry representatives

SELECTION OF APPLICATIONS
Projects are selected on the basis of their application, in accordance with a scoring grid set out in the tender specifications. The key criteria include:
- The innovative aspect of the project
- Reductions in the use of critical materials, the potential for reducing GHG emissions, and improvements in productivity factors
- Technical and economic feasibility
- The impact on the company’s competitiveness
DEADLINE
The call for proposals is open until 30 November 2026
Results within a maximum of two months, i.e. before 31 January 2027.
