A look back at the successes of the EnerNETMob project at the Final Conference in Marseille

Nearly 60 electromobility players from all over Europe met in Marseille and online to share the lessons learnt from the 13 demonstrators deployed as part of the European EnerNETMob project.

The European electromobility community came together in all its diversity at the Final Conference of the European project, held on 8 April at La Coque Marseille: professionals from the land and sea transport sectors, representatives of local authorities who are pioneers in the field of mobility, players in the fields of research and innovation, energy, digital technology and economic development.

All have benefited from feedback from the 13 pilots deployed at round tables dedicated to different use cases: land-sea intermodality, shared mobility and urban logistics.

The results of these trials involving electric vehicles and charging points, some of which are co-powered by renewable energy sources, will include an assessment of existing technologies, ease of implementation, use and replication in relation to common standards and protocols in the euro zone.

Capenergies, organiser of the event, demonstrated the effectiveness of mobility for urban logistics through the results of the French EnerNETMob demonstrator. installed at the Marché d'Intérêt National des Arnavaux: the truck's battery has more than enough range to cover the needs of the tour, optimised recharging time and an improved driver experience.

A day to highlight the successes of the EnerNETMob project, which has been running for over 2 years by the 16 partners involved, and which has resulted in :

  • The creation of an inter-regional network of small and medium-scale sustainable mobility infrastructures;
  • The distribution of a guide of recommendations to facilitate the implementation of sustainable mobility projects for local authorities;
  • The signing of a memorandum of understanding by all stakeholders to accelerate the deployment of sustainable mobility projects in Europe.
