Launch of a call for tenders to support investment projects aimed at making the industry more self-sufficient in terms of critical inputs, a major source of which is located in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine.
The aim of this AMI, operated by Bpifrance, is to enable the French government to support investment projects designed to strengthen the autonomy and resilience of France's industrial and production sectors. The aim is to reduce their degree of dependence while developing the industrial sectors that guarantee the creation of value in France and Europe.
It complements the call for critical metals projects and the call for agri-food industrialisation and capacity projects, launched as part of France 2030 to support a major reduction in national dependence on supplies.
The scope of the AMI is not limited solely to capacity compensation for essential inputs, but also takes into account possible substitutes and diversifications for industries using these inputs.
