More than fifty professionals met face-to-face at the IMREDD in Nice and online on 1 January.er The Energy Systems Club was launched in February. This new club, created and run by Capenergies, follows on from the FLEXGRID programme, which ends in December 2021.
To stay one step ahead and accelerate progress towards the 2050 targets, the SE Club has been launched to spread the word about inspiring examples, raise awareness of what has been achieved and of the players involved in regional solutions, share feedback and identify regional, national and European financial levers in the field of energy systems.
At this first plenary session, the club's objectives and roadmap for 2022 were set out. " The priority for members is to create a meeting place and help formalise projects in relation to current or future funding opportunities. " says Raphaël Rinaldi, in charge of the club's activities.
THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ENERGY SYSTEMS CLUB :
- Support for the emergence of projects These include experience feedback, knowledge sharing and support in formalising projects, particularly in connection with the TASE acceleration strategy,
- Take part in themed workshops (e.g. self-consumption, storage, etc.),
- Share key news items (regulatory changes) and current opportunities (calls for tender, funding windows, innovation platforms, etc.),
- Helping to adapt training and skills to the new needs of companies to facilitate recruitment,
- Obtain export assistance.
The club will focus on several plenary meetings and themed workshops, in particular dedicated to setting up projects, the first example of which was presented to participants: the Call for Expressions of Interest "DIGITAL SOCLE AND THE EMERGENCE OF NEW ENERGY SERVICES - PROPOSALS AND ASSOCIATED USE CASES".

Objectives: To unite the "Energy - Digital" sector around a common vision of the standardisation of energy data and its availability, to encourage the emergence of innovative projects and services, to contribute to the decision to launch Calls for Projects relating to the construction of the Digital Base on the one hand, and to new energy services and associated territories on the other, and to provide concrete information on the expectations of service providers and territories to feed into the drafting of the specifications for these Calls for Projects.

Club members also benefited from presentations on regional schemes, projects and European funding opportunities. From Smart Energy projectsThese were presented by Yves Prüfer, Director of the Agence de la Performance Énergétique de la Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur (Nice Côte d'Azur metropolitan area energy performance agency). support and funding opportunities :
- Regional & RIO schemes by Jocelyn Espéron, Frank Ferriz and Delphine Robart-Maugis from Région SUD
- European funding opportunities, in particular the Horizon Europe 2022 calls.
At the end of the meeting, the members visited the IMREDD premises, which house photovoltaic production, energy management and supervision equipment, battery storage and a flywheel, as well as charging points for electric vehicles.
