How can we persuade more households to take the plunge, whilst ensuring their energy-efficiency renovation process runs smoothly?
This is one of the major challenges facing renovation professionals, support organisations, local authorities, funding bodies and stakeholders in the housing sector.
After several years of working alongside organisations committed to energy-efficient refurbishment, the European project LIFE CONCERTO RENOV invites you to its final event, organised as part of the exhibition’s official programme RENODAYS at the PARIS BUILDERS SHOW:

Two regions, different needs, the same ambition
With just a few months to go before the end of the project, the local committees set up in the Jura and then in the Landes have made it possible to draw up an initial assessment of the pilot schemes carried out with SOLIHA Jura Saône-et-Loire and SOLIHA Landes.
These committees have made it possible not only to share the results achieved, but also to learn lessons about the conditions necessary for the success of an integrated housing renovation service: simplifying the process for households, improving coordination between stakeholders, and drawing on local resources.
In the Landes
The final local committee meeting was held in Dax, attended by around fifteen local stakeholders.
The initial results reflect the commitment shown:
- 495 files created on the platform; ;
- 365 homes viewed, subject to the submission of an audit report; ;
- 162 applications submitted ;
- 5.8 million euros’ worth of construction work generated ;
- €4.96 million in funding secured ;
- 2,907 MWh of final energy saved ;
- 487 tonnes of CO₂ avoided.
The report highlights, in particular, that the majority of households have modest or very modest incomes, as well as the significant role played by electricity, wood and wood pellets in their original heating systems.
In the Jura
This momentum is reflected in:
- 157 cases supported ;
- 116 audit reports issued to households ;
- 101 applications submitted ;
- 21 interim visits ;
- 5.8 million euros’ worth of construction work generated, of which 1.4 million are linked to renewable energy; ;
- Estimated energy savings of 3,000 MWh ;
- 513 tonnes of CO₂ avoided.
In the Jura, the vast majority of the projects involved energy-inefficient homes, with wood and heating oil featuring heavily in the original heating systems.
These two contexts naturally influence the range of works to be carried out: insulation, ventilation, joinery, heating systems or the use of renewable energy. This is where CONCERTO RENOV’s strength lies: in providing a common framework, whilst tailoring the support to the characteristics of the homes, households’ resources and the specific needs of each region.
The final results and recommendations of the project will be presented at the CONCERTO RENOV closing event.
A call for expressions of interest to prepare for future roll-outs
CONCERTO RENOV is now entering a new phase: sharing its model to inspire future roll-outs.
The project is launching a call for expressions of interest Aimed at local authorities, renovation contractors, support organisations, housing professionals and partners interested in integrated energy-efficiency renovation services.
The aim is to gauge the interest of potential users who wish to discover, adopt or replicate the model developed by CONCERTO RENOV.
Designed to act as a true orchestrator of the user journey, the platform enables users, in particular, to:
- Organise the renovation into clear stages; ;
- Centralise documents and communications in a secure space; ;
- Strengthen coordination between households, support workers, artisans and funders; ;
- To improve the clarity and transparency of monitoring; ;
- To facilitate the roll-out of the model to other organisations and regions.

Renovation fraud: what’s changing for professionals
Energy-efficiency refurbishment involves a wide range of stakeholders and significant public funding. This complexity can encourage fraudulent practices and undermine households’ trust in the sector as a whole.
Inspections carried out by the DGCCRF reveal, in particular, that certain fraudulent networks are becoming increasingly organised. Among the practices observed are aggressive canvassing, promises of fully funded works, impersonation of public bodies, the misuse of professional qualifications and a lack of transparency in subcontracting.
La the Act of 30 June 2025 against fraud involving public aid strengthens measures for prevention, monitoring and enforcement. For renovation professionals, this involves, in particular:
- Better identification of companies and subcontractors,
- Stricter checks on qualifications and the funding provided,
- Greater traceability throughout the supply chain,
- The possibility of suspending or withdrawing certain authorisations in the event of irregularities,
- Increased exchange of information between the relevant bodies.
For professionals committed to a quality-assurance approach, this strengthened framework also presents an opportunity: to better distinguish reliable operators and restore households’ confidence.
This development is fully in line with the principles championed by CONCERTO RENOV: clarifying responsibilities, centralising information, securing communications and coordinating stakeholders throughout the project.

Before committing, there are a few essential precautions to take:
- Check the company’s identity and qualifications; ;
- Compare several quotes; ;
- Never disclose your tax or personal details; ;
- Be wary of offers advertised as being completely free; ;
- Check the actual amount of financial assistance and the amount you are required to pay; ;
- Do not sign in a hurry; ;

The fight against fraud therefore relies on a two-pronged approach: strengthening checks and making processes clearer, more transparent and better supported.

The aim of CONCERTO RENOV is to make it easier for private individuals to do their home improvements by bringing together all the players in the energy renovation value chain on a single platform, a truly integrated solution that covers everything from diagnosing the home to monitoring energy savings after the work has been completed.
