CONCERTO RENOV #6 Newsletter: The latest news on energy-efficient home renovation!

Dear Readers,

Here is the latest newsletter from the European CONCERTO RENOV project, co-funded by the European Commission's LIFE programme. Find out about the key advances made by CONCERTO RENOV in the light of the latest news from the energy renovation sector. Enjoy reading and happy holidays to all!

In the field, CONCERTO RENOV is reaching new heights!

In autumn 2025, CONCERTO RENOV achieved a structural milestone of its deployment. In the Landes and Jura regions, 575 households have already been supported via the platform, representing nearly half of the final target set at 1,183 renovated dwellings.

A figure to be read with clarity: the year was marked by a high instability of public aid, which led to the cessation of 175 files, particularly after the suspension of MaPrimeRénov’ Rénovation Globale in the summer of 2025. These pathways, stored on the platform, nevertheless constitute a valuable material for understanding breaking points, improve systems and adapt support.

Despite this context, momentum remains strong. Local teams continue to transform projects, with a clear challenge for 2026: keep up the pace!

Attentive teams, an evolving platform!

In 2025, CONCERTO RENOV not only supported households: the project also develops its tool based on actual usage. The production launch of the V2 of the platform, in autumn, is the most concrete illustration of this.

Stated objective: simplify the daily lives of advisers and secure the journey for households.
The result? Highly operational improvements, directly derived from feedback in the field:

  • Clearer automated emails sent at the right time,
  • Filters to quickly find files,
  • A restart button integrated into the advisor interface,
  • Correction of bugs identified in real-life situations, particularly in energy analysis.

This version 2 also marks a decisive step forward in terms of quote tracking. At key stages of the process, tradespeople and households are now automatically notified of decisions, subsidy approvals and the start of work. This is a welcome development, as reduce delays, avoid misunderstandings and streamline the transition to action.

Comprehensive renovation: immersion in a supported project in Mont-de-Marsan

The project concerns a very modest household of four people, recently became a homeowner, with a clear priority: sustainably reduce energy bills and improve home comfort.

The first contact with SOLIHA dates back to May 2024. Within a few months, the project took shape: the project management assistance contract was signed in June, the first visit took place in August, work began in January 2025 and the project was completed in October 2025.

The work undertaken reflects a holistic approach :

  • Insulation of attics, under-eaves and walls from the outside,
  • Replacement of joinery,
  • Installation of a single-flow humidity-controlled ventilation system B.

According to the energy audit, the dwelling will change from a E to C label.
The total cost of the work amounts to €56,112 including VAT, of which 33 850 € funded by MaPrimeRénov’ Supported Programme, approved by Anah. The result is an estimated saving of €1,460 per year on your energy bill.

This type of project demonstrates the value of a structured support programme,» he emphasises. Julien SALHA SOLIHA LANDES Head of Energy Division – Thermal Engineer – RGE Energy Auditor, technical partner of the project. «This tool helps to secure technical and financial decisions, ensure data reliability and objectively assess the gains actually achieved. It is this feedback that will make it possible, in the future, to roll out high-performance renovation on a large scale, carried out in complete safety.»

VIDEO – What if energy renovation became simpler?

Renovating a property or managing a building project is not always straightforward: administrative procedures, technical choices, coordinating the various parties involved, etc.

That is the whole challenge of CONCERTO RENOV, an integrated solution from diagnosis to energy savings monitoring, which aims to simplify and streamline this process for both individuals and professionals in the sector.

In our new video, find out how CONCERTO RENOV connects households, tradespeople and advisors for better coordinated, more efficient and accessible renovation projects:

1 – A clear roadmap to understand each stage of the renovation process
2 – Better coordination to streamline exchanges between all stakeholders
3 – Successful projects to make the energy transition tangible and sustainable

Energy renovation: uncertain future in France, clear trajectory in Europe

The end of 2025 leaves us with mixed feelings. In France, successive changes to MaPrimeRénov’ have created uncertainty, jeopardising many projects, particularly for low- and very low-income households.

In this context, the CONCERTO RENOV experience provides a clear lesson: the more unstable the rules are, the more robust the support must be. Clarity of the process, coordination between stakeholders, continuity of monitoring... these are all essential levers for securing projects over the long term.

At European level, the dynamics are clearer. The revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive confirms the central role of One-stop shops, genuine one-stop shops for renovation. In conjunction with EU PEERS, CONCERTO RENOV is fully in line with this approach, capitalising on feedback from the field and the work of the CSTB on the replicability of models such as the National Building Database.
