The 2025 booklet on certified projects brings together 21 innovations, covering sectors and themes such as the decarbonisation of industry and transport, nuclear energy, hydrogen, bioenergy, energy networks and infrastructure, and solar energy.
A range of innovative solutions that are particularly relevant in the current context, where there is a need for a comprehensive overview of the various applications of low-carbon energy generation.
The number of projects submitted remains high, demonstrating the Capenergies ecosystem’s strong responsiveness to the funding opportunities that remain, even though the number of calls for projects under the France 2030 plan has fallen significantly.
In a landscape where funding is increasingly structured around national strategic priorities, the support programme and the ‘competitiveness cluster’ label represent a decisive advantage, as demonstrated by the high proportion of funded projects amongst those that have been awarded the label.
The charter governing the certification process has been revised and agreed with the public funding bodies, BPIfrance, ADEME and ANR. This update enhances the clarity, transparency and rigour of the process, in full line with the expectations of public funders.
A true mark of quality, it demonstrates to public and private funders that the project has been assessed, scrutinised and approved by a committee of recognised experts from the energy sector.
Start-ups, SMEs, research laboratories: diversity that shapes the solutions of tomorrow
The dynamism of the Capenergies ecosystem in 2025 is also reflected in the diversity of its project leaders. Start-ups, SMEs, large corporations and research laboratories: each plays its part.
Highlight of the year: research organisations are establishing themselves as strategic partners in ambitious collaborative projects, strengthening the synergies between academic research and industrial innovation.
