French Energy-Climate Strategy: contribute to the public consultation until 22 December 2023

To free France from its dependence on fossil fuels,
you have to aim for " more renewables, nuclear power and energy efficiency ".

On 22 November, the government published its energy strategy for 2050. The strategy has two objectives: to reduce France's dependence on fossil fuels and to increase the production of low-carbon energies.

" The transformation to be undertaken over the next three decades is on a scale comparable to that of the first industrial revolution. The energy system needs to be rebuilt and its philosophy changed: this French Strategy for Energy and Climate translates this ambition into concrete measures to achieve our climate objectives and ensure our energy sovereignty. "Agnès Pannier-Runacher

After a period of public consultation during which you can contribute, this strategy will be incorporated into a law on energy production, expected in early 2024.
