Press release: Anne-Marie Perez to head the France Hydrogène Delegation in the South of France

The Managing Director of Capenergies has been chosen by the French Hydrogen Association to lead this local initiative.

17 December 2020 - At a time when hydrogen, a key vector in the energy transition, is spearheading a more competitive national and European industry, France Hydrogène* is announcing the creation of Regional Delegations to accelerate the deployment of projects as close as possible to the regions and in liaison with local players.

Anne-Marie Perez, as Managing Director of Capenergies, has been appointed to launch the Southern Regional Delegation, as the cluster has been involved with the association for several years and sits on its Board of Directors.

Bringing together manufacturers and local authorities, it has set up a Task Force to define a programme that meets the challenges of the region and the needs of France Hydrogène members in the regions, for the development of large-scale hydrogen projects. The aims are to accelerate projects, mobilise key stakeholders and circulate skills and expertise between local players.

This is a major step in the structuring of the hydrogen sector, which also aims to strengthen the convergence of national and local visions.

" I'm taking on this mission with determination and with the ambition of taking the collective action necessary to get this sector off the ground in the Southern Region, in France and in Europe, and for the benefit of all the members of France Hydrogène based in the region. "

It's also a great acknowledgement of Capenergies' work: for the past 4 years, the cluster has been facilitating cooperation between players in the sector through the Club Hydrogène Sud, and helping to define the Southern Region's Hydrogen action plan. Around thirty of the structuring or innovation projects carried out in the region and in the French West Indies are supported by the cluster.
