THERMODYNAMIC CONTROL OF AGRICULTURAL GREENHOUSES
The Agriterma project aims to develop a climate control system for agricultural greenhouses, using a mix of renewable energy production and storage solutions (solar thermal, surface geothermal, thermal storage, waste heat recovery, reversible heat pumps) to replace the fossil fuels commonly used.
The Agriterma project concept offers significant potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural activities. Its integrated approach enables crops to be protected against climatic hazards, while reducing and decarbonising the energy consumption of greenhouse crops.
