HYDROGEN FUEL SUPPLY FOR INERTIAL SYSTEMS OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS IN NON-INTERCONNECTED AREAS
The aim of the ALCHYMISTE project is to provide an electricity grid frequency stability service to facilitate the integration of new renewable energy (RE) parks in Corsica and other areas of France that are not interconnected. The aim is to produce hydrogen by electrolysis from renewable electricity, so that it can be used to power existing thermal power stations, partially replacing imported biofuels.
