DEFECTS AND DEFORMATION IN CRYSTALLINE SILICON INGOTS FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC APPLICATIONS TOWARDS THE INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES
The aim of the project is to improve the manufacturing processes and yields of silicon photovoltaic technologies, and in particular to gain a better understanding of the appearance of defects and deformations during the silicon crystallisation phase.
The results could make it possible to manufacture silicon of better crystalline quality, at higher production rates and on larger surfaces, and therefore reduce costs.
