DRI FOS/DRI H2

COMPREHENSIVE, HIGH-PERFORMANCE RENOVATION

GRAVITHY's DRI/HBI reduced iron production plant project aims to decarbonise the steel production chain at its most CO2-intensive stage: iron ore reduction.
The project involves building a hydrogen production plant using electrolysis (700 MW), combined with a low-carbon iron briquette production plant using direct hydrogen reduction (2 Mt/year). The plant would be located in Dock 2 of the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille, where several electro-intensive industrial projects are currently under appraisal.
