INNOVATIVE BIDIRECTIONAL POWER CONVERSION MODULE (MEDIUM-VOLTAGE AC TO LOW-VOLTAGE DC), COMBINED WITH STATIONARY STORAGE USING SECOND-LIFE BATTERIES
The DIRECT project aims to develop an innovative 20 kV AC / 500 V DC bidirectional power conversion module for charging point manufacturers and charging system integrators, combined with a stationary storage system using second-life batteries. The two technological components complement each other to offer a more efficient and compact solution than existing devices, thereby enabling the replacement of legacy transformers. The project aims to make a significant contribution to the roll-out of sustainable mobility solutions and the integration of renewable energy into the national electricity grid.
