DEMONSTRATION OF SODIUM ION TECHNOLOGY FOR STATIONARY AND ON-BOARD POWER STORAGE APPLICATIONS

The development of electric mobility and renewable energies is creating new needs for electrical storage. In this context, sodium-ion technology offers promising advantages.

The aim of the POWERBAT project is to optimise the performance of sodium-ion batteries and to validate the performance of battery packs with manufacturers for stationary applications and forklift trucks. TIAMAT's objective is to generate orders and launch an industrial demonstrator in 2020.
