IONIC ImPLEMENTATION EQUIPMENT AND ASSOCIATED PROCESSES TO MAINTAIN AND EXPAND A pilot line in FRance dedicated to the manufacture of broadband semiconductor electronic components

Power electronic components based on broadband semiconductors, known as "Grand Gap" semiconductors (SiC, GaN, etc.), are strategic for electric mobility and energy conversion.

The PIONEER project aims to develop innovative equipment for ion implantation, which is the basis for the production of these materials. This equipment will be implemented as part of the expansion of a pilot line, the only one of its kind in France, dedicated to the manufacture of these components, thereby helping to boost national and European competitiveness in this strategic industrial sector.
