Slow Piezoelectric Generator for Very Low Head Hydropower
The aim of the project is to design, build and integrate a 50 kW slow piezoelectric generator (Power Take Off) to address the small hydroelectric market, which differs from the traditional hydroelectric market in the low head it uses. The project involves testing in an operational environment at a test site provided by Société du Canal de Provence. It follows the validation of the concept on a 1kW generator and a demonstration project at sea. The aim is to increase electricity production yields for very low head hydroelectricity.
