SIMU-ITER

REDUCED TRANSPORT MODEL FOR THE PREDICTIVE SIMULATION OF WEST AND ITER PLASMAS

The aim of SIMU-ITER is to develop a numerical code capable of producing fast and reliable simulations of the reactive medium interacting with the wall of experimental nuclear fusion facilities. The project aims to provide a more accurate description of the 'turbulent' transport of particles and heat inside nuclear fusion reactors, in particular by integrating electron physics and realistic 3D geometries.
