Development of solar micro-STEPs connected to the Corsican electricity grid
STEPSol's ambition is to design and develop micro-STEPs* (<1MW) outside any watercourse, which can be replicated and marketed in sizes that are acceptable for the environment and the land, using local expertise in Corsica.
The STEPSOL Demonstrator project follows on from the STEPSOL R&D project funded by the Corsica Region. It represents the demonstrator phase of the project, enabling the technology to be validated under real operating conditions. As a future commercial showcase, this demonstrator will be the basis for development in Corsica and eventually internationally.
