SUD COGÉ AGRO

ADAPTING MINI GREEN POWER TECHNOLOGY TO RECOVER ENERGY FROM WOOD B

The aim of the project is to adapt a biomass cogeneration plant to make use of the wood waste produced in large quantities in the southern Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. The electrical energy (8,000 h/year) and thermal energy (36,000 MWh/year) generated by the process should help to improve the energy performance of the local agro-industry, particularly agricultural greenhouses.

The usability of this technology, which is based on several patents, will be assessed as part of a full-scale demonstrator.
