STONE-CARBON CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC SHADINGS
The Technocarbon project aims to industrialise the production of a new stone-carbon construction system, consisting of an assembly of natural stone slats and layers of carbon fibre, for use in photovoltaic shade structures, as an alternative to steel and wood. The stone-carbon composite material has a low carbon footprint and offers advantages in terms of weight and corrosion resistance.
