AN INNOVATIVE, MOBILE, OPTIMISED PLASTICS PROCESSING UNIT

The UTOPIM project involves developing a mobile CHRYSALIS pyrolysis unit capable of converting a large proportion of existing plastic waste into low-carbon diesel fuel. The mobile nature of the solution will reduce the cost of transporting waste, particularly to isolated sites.

The project involves the production of a full-scale demonstrator incorporating a number of innovations designed to improve the efficiency and reliability of the conversion unit.
