During the first quarter of 2020, the Capenergies labelling committee has labelled 7 new innovative projects.
The 12-member independent committee is made up of leading national and international figures in the field of energy. It is chaired by Olivier Appert, Chairman of France Brevets, Member of the Académie des Technologies and former Chairman of the French Energy Council.
It meets every month to assess the innovative nature and potential economic spin-offs of the projects submitted: R&D projects, projects to structure a sector, business or training projects.
This label is part of the process of supporting project leaders, from innovation to bringing products and services to market.
KEY FIGURES - CAPENERGIES CERTIFICATION :
737 accredited projects since 2005, representing a budget of
total mobilised of 1680 million (of which 541 millions
of public funding obtained following the award of the label).
CROCS
OPTIMISED SOLAR RESTORATION CONCEPT
The aim of the CROCS R&D project is to develop an autonomous solar energy cooking system with heat storage, to overcome the intermittent nature of this resource. The project is part of a collaboration between AMU's IUSTI laboratory and the Le Présage restaurant.

DUALBLOC
FEASIBILITY OF A ONE-PIECE POLYMER HEAT EXCHANGER FOR DUALSUN HYBRID PANELS
As part of the DualPLAS project accredited by Capenergies and funded by the FUI, DualSun has developed a hybrid photovoltaic/thermal module that generates 3 times more energy than a conventional photovoltaic solar panel. The manufacturing process used involves producing the module from extruded technical polymer, with the heat exchanger components assembled by welding. To keep pace with the rapid fall in photovoltaic costs, the DualBLOC project aims to validate a new manufacturing process for Dualsun's hybrid solar modules, in order to make them more competitive.

ENERSQUID
PLATFORM FOR ASSESSING AND OPTIMISING ENERGY TRANSITION PROJECTS
Enersquid is a multi-energy (electricity, heat, cooling, gas) sizing software package designed for manufacturers and local authorities to facilitate the deployment of Energy Transition projects. Used in the upstream phase, it is a decision-making aid for identifying the renewable resources to be implemented in a targeted area and sizing the technological systems to meet the energy needs. The Enersquid PRO project aims to develop a professional version of the call product, available free online, including customisable functions and advanced optimisation algorithms.

MASSHYLIA
DECARBONISING INDUSTRIAL HYDROGEN AT THE MEDE BIOREFINERY
The Masshylia project aims to produce green hydrogen using photovoltaic solar energy to initially supply the TOTAL la Mède biorefinery in the Fos-sur-Mer area. Masshylia is the first large-scale project to decarbonise the hydrogen used to replace steam reforming in industrial processes. It is a structuring project for the industry and the region, contributing to the development of the green hydrogen value chain in France.

PV2 COOLECT
PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL-POWERED REFRIGERATED CONTAINERS FOR CROP STORAGE IN AFRICA
The aim of the PV2COOLECT project is to study and prototype a refrigerated container powered by a photovoltaic panel shade for storing crops. It will initially be used in Togo, where 23% of fruit and vegetable crops are lost every year because there is no cold chain. PV2COOLECT follows on from the PVCOOLING project accredited by Capenergies, which led to the PV2COOL® solar-powered refrigerated warehouse demonstrator project, winner of the FASEP "Sustainable Cities in Africa" call for projects.

SERENYSUN ENERGIES
INTEGRATED OFFER FOR TERRITORIAL RENEWABLE ENERGY COMMUNITIES
SerenySun is proposing the development of a third-party investment offering for the production of solar energy consumed locally and in real time by a community of players in the same area (individuals, businesses, local authorities) wishing to work collectively on the energy transition. This new model of societal energy supply will be implemented in the commune of Calas as part of a project referenced by the FLEXGRID programme.
