HELION Hydrogen Power's fuel cells selected to test the powering of maritime refrigerated containers.

French fuel cell manufacturer HELION Hydrogen Power*a member of Capenergies, has just been selected by the CMA CGM group, a world leader in maritime transport and logistics, to test an innovative technology for maritime refrigerated containers.

HELION Hydrogen Power* will be offering a hydrogen-powered electric generator dedicated to refrigerated containers, providing continuous power for several hours or even several days.

This collaboration is part of one of the 8 French Smart Port in Med challenges launched with the Port of Marseille Fos to build the port of tomorrow.

Integrated into a transportable platform and connected to a rechargeable gas storage system, this mobile solution will enable reefer containers to be stored in different parts of the port that are not connected to the grid.

Running on hydrogen, the fuel cell generates electricity without polluting emissions, offering an alternative to diesel generators.
