NEPTECH & HYSILABS work together to design a new-generation hydrogen ship!

Two Capenergies member companies, start-ups NepTech and Hysilabs,
are announcing at VIVATECH that they will be working together to design a next-generation hydrogen-powered vessel incorporating their respective breakthrough technologies.

A promising technological cooperation for the development of an electro-hydrogen propulsion passenger ship, using Hydrosil, a solution developed by Hysilabs, as an energy vector in a Neptech passenger ship, designed to be as efficient as a traditional ship.

The 1era stage of this agreement is to validate the technical and economic feasibility, and the 2th The next step will be to build a full-scale demonstrator and launch it in Marseilles in 2024.

" This agreement marks the first step towards the development of a full-scale prototype of a NepTech vessel, using HydroSil as an energy carrier. This is the start of a wonderful collaboration between two players in the Southern Region who are committed to developing innovative, intelligent and clean solutions. "

Tanguy Goetz, Chairman and co-founder of NepTech

"It's a great territorial synergy that will enable us to move forward together in the energy transition. This collaboration will combine NepTech's know-how in the maritime sector with a liquid vector technology that is unique in the world and fully adapted to this sector.

Pierre-Emmanuel Casanova, Chairman and co-founder of HySiLabs
