Morocco and Korea are key future markets for the export of European hydrogen technologies. As part of the European H2Global of which Capenergies is a stakeholder, 2 business missions were recently organised there to initiate concrete collaborations with local players.
Mission to Morocco, a pioneering country for green hydrogen
Morocco has an ambitious roadmap for developing the production and use of green hydrogen, based in particular on international partnerships.
To meet public and private contractors and initiate initial collaborations, Capenergies led the World Summit POWER-TO-X in Marrakech, a French delegation made up of
- 5 innovative companies in the sector: Hydrogen Refueling Solutions, MGH Energy, Teréga Solutions, Artelia, Kouros Investments ;
- TotalEnergies, as a partner for supporting the international development of companies in the region and thus contribute to the economic development of our regions.
In the presence of Paul Lucchese, Chairman of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Hydrogen Accord.
Over the 3 days from 19 to 21 September, there were plenty of contacts to make. Discussions began at the French Embassy in Morocco and continued with BtoB meetings between French and Moroccan companies at the show.
At the same time as the mission, Capenergies signed a partnership agreement with the GreenH2 clusterconsidered to be the core of the hydrogen ecosystem in Morocco. The aim is to strengthen long-term relations between the French and Moroccan carbon-free hydrogen ecosystems.
Mission to South Korea, land of hydrogen mobility
At the flagship H2 MEET hydrogen trade fair, An international delegation led by the consortium of the European H2 Global project visited South Korea, a pioneering country in the field of hydrogen mobility..
As part of this mission, Capenergies was able to meet around ten companies keen to cooperate with French and European partners on major issues such as hydrogen safety, distribution and storage.
In addition, a major memorandum of understanding has been signed between the H2Global project partners and 4 Korean technoparks Gyeonggi Daejin TechnoPark, GyeonggiTechnoPark, Seoul TechnoPark and Incheon TechnoPark. The aim is to share information and opportunities for the benefit of European and Korean companies that are members of the stakeholders, including Capenergies.
Because the international expansion of European green hydrogen companies is at the heart of the objectives of the European H2Global project, a previous business mission was organised in Chile and a final one will be held in Brazil before the end of the year.
