At regional level, EY has released the initial results of a study commissioned by the SUD region. The aim of the study is to define the region's positioning and identify the priority areas for action by the SUD region in the solar sector. To achieve this, the study involves an in-depth analysis of the regional players, their activities in the industrial value chain, their project typology in relation to the locations where they are based, and their economic model for exploiting solar energy production.

Finally, to facilitate connections, 3 members were invited to present themselves and share their activities and current innovation projects: the Institut Matériaux, Microélectronique, Nanosciences de Provence (IM2NP), the Corsican company STEPSol and the Société du Canal de Provence.

The innov'solaire club has got off to an effective start, and its future programme will include themed workshops to which local authorities, manufacturers and other bodies specifically involved in promoting acculturation will be invited, as well as technical and commercial collaborations.
