The Capenergies cluster becomes a partner in the scheme EcoWatt supported by RTE and ADEME, and undertakes to disseminate the information to members of its ecosystem and those of its partners.
EcoWatt is a citizen-based scheme that enables French people and businesses to adopt responsible energy consumption and thus help to ensure a good electricity supply for everyone.
EcoWatt is a real electricity 'weather forecast', enabling you to raise awareness among all users of the need to consume electricity more efficiently and to promote the actions taken by companies and local authorities (a charter is available to formalise the commitment and specify the actions).
Businesses, EcoWatt can help you implement useful actions and communicate them easily. You can also retrieve data in real time signals, via an API open to all, which you can display on your website.

RTE'S RESPONSE TO THE CURRENT ENERGY CONTEXT
The mission of RTE, the state-owned company that manages the electricity transmission network, is to ensure a secure supply of electricity for all French citizens: by mobilising all the electricity available in France, but also, if necessary, from our European neighbours.
The French electricity system is currently in transition. The margins available in winter are reduced. Vigilance is required during periods of high consumption, mainly in winter.
Solutions exist to safeguard the French electricity supply. They will be deployed if necessary: for example, by reducing the consumption of certain industries in France or by lowering the voltage across the entire network.
If all these measures prove insufficient, targeted blackouts across the country cannot be ruled out entirely. However, this in no way represents a risk of a blackout across the whole country.
That's why RTE wants everyone in France to get involved by taking simple steps at the right time. Ecowatt gives them the means to do so.
