Laurent LELAIT joins the Capenergies labelling committee

The Capenergies Labellisation Committee is pleased to welcome Laurent LELAIT, Director of Open Innovation at EDF R&D. His arrival follows the retirement of Jacques-Thierry MONTI.

 Biography of Laurent LELAIT

A ceramics engineer, Laurent LELAIT holds a doctorate in solid state physics. As a Materials expert, he worked for 10 years at EDF R&D before moving to Karlsruhe in Germany for 11 years, where he created the European Institute for Energy Research (a joint research centre between EDF and KIT). In 2011, he joined EDF R&D in France, and created the Group's Innovation team as Technology Manager. He was then seconded for 3 years to a seed investment fund (CEA Investissement) as Director of Energy and Environment Innovation. Since 2016, Laurent LELAIT has held the position of Head of Business Development. scouting and support for entrepreneurial innovation projects.
