Networking and a renewed sense of conviviality, for a successful 2022 AGM!

A big THANK YOU to our members and partners
for their attendance at the Capenergies General Meeting and Business Meetings held on Wednesday 15 June at the Palais du Pharo in Marseille.

The Capenergies community was on hand for this convivial day, with almost 150 energy players in attendance. to talk, exchange ideas and develop their network at a time when collaboration is a key asset in meeting the energy challenges.

More than 170 BtoB meetings were held throughout the morning. This was an opportunity to showcase the innovative products and services of around thirty companies that have been members of the Capenergies community for less than 3 years.

 

INSPIRING SUCCESS STORIES

The Annual General Meeting was an opportunity to approve the results of the 2021 actions and accounts, as well as the 2022 action plan and budget, highlighted by 4 success stories from companies supported by the cluster:

–          SERENY SUN which is now making its 1st
communities producing and sharing local green energy ;
–          GRID POCKETThis has enabled the company to consolidate its international presence and to be at the forefront of key market issues;
–          GREEN GT whose 44-tonne electric-hydrogen truck is making its 1st trips in the South of France;
–          SUD ROBINETTERIE INDUSTRIE which is accessing new markets in Nuclear and Hydrogen thanks to the support of France Relance.

 

OUR GUEST OF HONOUR :

François-Marie Bréon Deputy Director of the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement, and contributor to the 5th IPCC report, spoke of the multiple short- and medium-term impacts of climate change, the means of limiting them, and the need for political arbitration.

 

"Energy, in the broadest sense, is the 1era The main cause of C02 emissions that needs to be tackled. Achieving carbon neutrality will require sobriety, technological developments to reduce energy consumption and the development of low-carbon energies".

 

LISTENING TO OUR MEMBERS

Participants were then invited to share their expectations and reflect collectively on the cluster's positioning and outlook on major issues such as sector structuring, skills, access to European funding, etc. This fruitful work will enrich our actions, with a view to the cluster's next strategic phase 2023-2026.
