Capenergies has selected AQUATECH INNOVATION, HIMYDATA, INSITU SYSTEM and SMARTEMBED in response to the call for applications for the European GREENinMED project. Each of these companies will receive a grant of 25 K(e) to support the development of new solutions for better water and energy management for pre-identified tourist accommodation.
Project partner GREENinMED, financed by the European ENI CBC MED programme, Capenergies supports innovation aimed at tourist accommodation for more efficient management of their water and energy consumption.

Who are we?
AquaTech Innovation is a GreenTech company that deploys connected objects and on-site infrastructure to detect leaks in drinking water networks. Our mission: to preserve water resources, both in terms of quantity and quality, but also to limit the environmental impact of its use.

Our GREENinMED project
The GREENinMED grant will enable :
- The recruitment of 2 employees for our digital division,
- The development of a sales support tool with a portable demonstrator,
- The development of associated web applications, making them more user-friendly for operators.
The GREENinMED ecosystem will also enable us to connect with other campsites.

Our GREENinMED project
Using AI to help tourism professionals make better use of energy
Based on energy data, our aim is to give energy and sustainability managers usable data to better understand and manage their consumption, reduce their carbon footprint and cut their bills from 15% to 30%.
This innovative, self-learning solution uses artificial intelligence to analyse the data, giving establishments a reliable prediction of their energy consumption and instant feedback on any anomalies.
The tool makes it easy to :
- Alerting you to anomalies (abnormal behaviour, over-consumption, wastage, breakdowns, etc.)
- Track and analyse your consumption (filter over several periods)
- Tracking energy efficiency targets
- Centralise measurements that have an impact (weather, rooms, appliance consumption, occupancy, etc.)
- Scoring on sobriety
- Monitor your energy expenditure (costs and consumption)
Who are we?
InSitu Systems is a new French company specialising in connected objects for the water industry. We develop and manufacture a dedicated monitoring solution for each application.

Our GREENinMED project
To develop a new solution for monitoring water and energy consumption in tourist establishments, particularly small-scale accommodation, in an integrated and user-friendly way.
Managers and operators will have access to the following functions:
- Real-time local and remote monitoring of water and electricity consumption
- Assessing energy performance and water leakage over time
- Immediate alert in the event of abnormal over-consumption.
Who are we?
SmartEmbed specialises in the design, development and manufacture of embedded systems for the industrial and tertiary sectors. Our company develops and markets connected products that reduce water and energy consumption in showers.
Our GREENinMED project
The aim is to develop and test in real conditions a new innovative product called EDDO DROP: a hydro-efficient connected shower control for individual showers for tourism professionals. As the concept and industrial design of the EDDO.DROP product have already been completed, the technical and economic objectives of the project are to :
- Develop the mechanical, electronic and software components of our product;
- Test and validate the technological concept in the field at a campsite;
- Carry out a technical and economic analysis and make the most of water and energy savings.
