CLEEF SUCESS

CLEEF SUCCESS

TECHNOLOGY FOR DRYING SEWAGE PLANT SLUDGE

The aim of the CLEEF SUCCESS project is to create an industrial prototype for drying sludge at an existing WWTP, under real operating conditions. This prototype includes two modules: a drying module incorporating a bath of recovered fats/oil heated to 130°C and a heat recovery module using a mechanical steam compressor. This process is more energy-efficient than conventional processes. The second objective of the project is to characterise the energy qualities of the eco-fuel generated by the process (dried sludge + grease).
