HYVENCE ELECTRICAL ARCHITECTURE DEMONSTRATION

As part of the HyVence framework project for the production of low-carbon hydrogen from a floating solar farm, this project aims to optimise the efficiency of hydrogen production electrolysers by ensuring the stability of the supply current regardless of the variability of solar power, using a direct DC/DC conversion solution. The innovative electrical architecture proposed should make it possible to reduce the number of power converters and their associated equipment.

The solution will be tested on a 350 kW pilot plant to validate the concept before being applied to the HyVence project (100+ MW of electrolysis).
