EQUIPMENT AND PROCESSES FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF HIGH-EFFICIENCY BIFACIAL PHOTOVOLTAIC CELLS

The aim of the ISICELL project is to demonstrate the performance of innovative equipment and manufacturing processes for bifacial PV modules, enabling their production costs to be reduced. These modules offer production gains of 10 to 30%, depending on their orientation and sunlight conditions. The technologies developed in the project are based on ion implantation by plasma immersion and passivation by Atomic Layer Deposition.
